They ticket anybody parked on the curb

The way this police department handled the lynching of that 8-year old boy was disgusting. The statement released issued more concern for the teenagers responsible for that horrible act of violence against a child. What happened was not a "mistake" as the police named it. When a noose is hanged around a person's neck it is attempted murder and it is most concerning when the people trusted to protect citizens do not recognize that.

They lack education of the law

Hey Chief.. Hows it feel to be like the judge of Brock Turners case because "these kids need to be protected" Where the hell is the biracial 8 yr olds protection when he was hung by a noose by those white kids. They should be tried for attempted murder regardless of their age. Don't care who you are but those kids know what they did and what they were attempting to do. It's sad that you deem this acceptable just becasue they are white. I hate that I have to give it a 1 star because you chief deserve NONE. This child deserves justice that you have shown the world you are unwilling to give. Shame on you.

Horrible

Horrible work ethic and moral.

Shame on the Claremont Police Officer who rolled through our stop sign, on our street this morning. (11/22/17) We DO have lots of children and elderly on our block. I guess it's ok, because it was a "female". Will she be held accountable by a "female" police chief? I doubt it. After stopping in the middle of our street to run license plates for parking tickets? Really? No emergency lights? How can citizens be expected to obey they law, if those sworn to enforce it, set this kind of example? I mean really. I'd love a public answer. I feel like our community deserves to see tax-payers dollars, spent professionally. Not spent on training police officers to think they are above the law, if no one is watching.

Officer Mark Chase should get immediately fired for trying to protect lynchers his reasoning? They were just teens. Attempted murder is a serious crime and this dispicapble officer wants it to go unnoticed.
